Joining LendingTree during a major brand redesign was an exciting time. The entire design team was buzzing with fresh ideas for the updated online presence. As part of this effort, our design, development, and SEO teams collaborated closely to create and refine landing pages. Utilizing extensive web and app traffic analytics, we tested everything from full redesigns to minor tweaks to optimize performance. I had the opportunity to work on several concepts, and here are a few landing pages I designed and successfully tested, showcasing the innovative direction of the new brand.

Brief

Drawing on my early experience in designing and coding WordPress blog themes in the mid-2000s, I had the opportunity to revamp the LendingTree blog. This project entailed a complete redesign, including the main blog index, various content templates, and sidebar elements. It was a rewarding experience to have the creative freedom to reimagine and enhance different aspects of the blog’s design while collaborating closely with the SEO team to achieve their goals. The redesign not only modernized the blog’s appearance but also improved its functionality and user experience.

I designed a comprehensive template to enhance communication between loan applicants and lenders on LendingTree. This template streamlined the process for applicants to call, schedule, or reschedule appointments with matching lenders. By displaying lender hours and improving communication channels, the template significantly reduced user drop-off rates and increased loan request completions. This design ensured that more applicants successfully secured their loans, while lenders who bid on loan applications saw a better return on their investment.
